As a Jamboree Site Design Section Member, you will be at the heart of one of the most exciting and impactful events in the Scouting world—the World Scout Jamboree. Working within the Jamboree Site Department, your role will involve collaborating with architects, industry experts, and environmental specialists to help design the layout and infrastructure of the event site on Sobieszewo Island in Gdańsk.

You will play a pivotal role in creating a sustainable and functional Jamboree site that meets WOSM guidelines while addressing the environmental responsibilities of the Jamboree Organization. Your work will span from the planning and design phase through the construction, operation, and ultimately the decommissioning of the site. Key areas of focus will include water, power, network, waste management, warehouses, tents, and site layout.

  • Membership in the Polish Scouting & Guiding Association (ZHP).
  • Completion of leader’s service in the previous year, along with a favorable opinion from the relevant Regional Commissioner or Chief Commissioner.
  • Positive experience in managing projects at least at the regional level (domestic).
  • Ability to communicate freely in spoken and written English.

  • Membership in one of the organizations belonging to the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).
  • A favorable opinion from your International Commissioner.
