Second Official World Scout Jamboree Bulletin Released!

Two years before the start of the 26th World Scout Jamboree Poland 2027, we are delighted to release the second issue of the Official World Scout Jamboree Bulletin. This publication is addressed to WOSM Member Organizations that are organising national contingents to participate in the World Scout Jamboree.

The road to the 26th World Scout Jamboree just became a lot clearer. With the release of Bulletin 2, organizers have opened the next chapter in the preparation journey — and this edition is essential reading for anyone involved in building, supporting, or simply following the preparations for this global event.

Published in April 2025, the second official bulletin marks a shift from general announcements to detailed guidance. And it does so with clarity and structure: to make navigating the content easier, the bulletin introduces a new coded system.

First and foremost, Bulletin 2 dives deeper into programme content — the heart of the Jamboree experience. Readers will discover full outlines of the Modular Programme, including both on-site and off-site activities, each designed around the Jamboree’s theme “Bravely!”. Activities range from bushcraft, cultural workshops, and global citizenship labs to urban adventures across Gdańsk and aquatic challenges along the Baltic coast.

We also get a closer look at the Subcamp Programme, the Plaza Programme, and the Supporting Events — from interactive exhibitions to a Model UN-style Youth Forum, and even a custom-designed Jamboree board game. Every element is rooted in the idea of empowering young people to be brave, curious, and connected.

In a significant step forward, the bulletin also outlines the structure of the IST Experience — the volunteer-powered engine of the Jamboree. ISTs will not only be trained and supported in their operational roles, but will also have dedicated opportunities for personal development, networking, and recognition. The bulletin introduces the IST Experience Award, and details the new IST Feedback System, ensuring volunteers are heard and appreciated.

For Heads of Contingent and National Scout Organizations, the bulletin provides practical and strategic information about how to build national contingents. It includes unit composition rules, adult leadership roles, registration deadlines, and limits for group sizes. A comprehensive preparation timeline walks through every key date from now until summer 2027 — including registration windows, meetings, and payment milestones.

Another key highlight is HoC Base – the dynamic digital platform introduced last year, which we continue to develop and rely on. It serves as the central hub for all bulletins, circulars, visual materials and real-time updates. Unlike traditional static PDFs, HoC Base is designed for continuous updates and easy sharing across Contingent Teams. It brings together planning and accessibility, remaining open to the wider Scouting community, with restricted access only for sensitive or technical content.

What’s more, Bulletin 2 extends a warm invitation to the next big step in planning: the 2nd Head of Contingent Meeting, scheduled for 26–28 September 2025 in Gdańsk. This live gathering will allow national teams to explore the site, meet the organizers face-to-face, and dive into key topics like logistics, inclusion, and the Safe from Harm framework.

This bulletin isn’t just a document — it’s a call to action, a roadmap, and a reassurance that the pieces are falling into place. For thousands of young people and volunteers around the world, Bulletin 2 represents the shared momentum toward an unforgettable Jamboree experience.

The World Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event of the Scout Movement, held every four years and gathering tens of thousands of Scouts aged 14–17 from nearly every country in the world. It’s a unique celebration of peace, diversity, learning, and international friendship.

In 2027, for the first time in history, Poland will host this extraordinary event — and it will take place in the beautiful coastal city of Gdańsk.

With the theme “Bravely!”, the 26th World Scout Jamboree invites young people to step out of their comfort zones, take action for the future, and live the values that unite the global Scouting family.
