We are thrilled to share the highlights of a weekend spent with the World Scout Jamboree Advisory Committee!

We started the weekend with the official introduction of the Jamboree Advisory Committee, setting the stage for an impactful gathering. The committee members: Callum Farquhar, Göran Härdegal, Dr Hamad Alyahya, Jørgen Rasmussen, Joshua Dick, Marie Louise Ycossié Sahali, Mari Nakano, Omar Lugo Aguirre traveled to Warsaw to discuss preparations for Jamboree 2027.

This was followed by a meeting with the President of Poland, HE Andrzej Duda, hosted at the Presidential Palace, and the day concluded with an engaging session with Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk, Piotr Kryszewski.

Saturday was all about the enlightening sessions focusing on the upcoming World Scout Jamboree 2027! We navigated through essential topics, aligning our knowledge about ZHP and delving deep into jamboree preparations. The day’s highlight was a sharing session where we gleaned valuable lessons from past Jamborees. Thematic discussions on the program added depth to our insights.

Sunday was filled with further thematic discussions centering on the site and logistics. Exploring innovative ways of collaboration, we set the groundwork for effective teamwork until 2027! As we wrapped up the weekend, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the enriching experiences and energized for the exciting journey ahead!

Stay tuned for more updates on our collaborative efforts and the road to the World Scout Jamboree 2027!
